The seed is a powerful means to connect with people, history, and identity. We use Asian seeds and vegetables to bridge Asian Americans and the Asian diaspora to their roots, memories, and community. Through a panel discussion with a local Asian American farmer, chef, and student, we discuss the meaning of Asian seed preservation, food diversity, and community building amid the rise of racism and xenophobia.
